you were so NOT out of line there LK. It was just a kool-aid moment (you just wouldn't drink the kool-aid without asking questions)
My cartomizers are getting very close to perfect LK, but I have to almost build them from scratch.
For me LK...its my Inferno/Ego...7 months with this one & I am still happy...we'll see for the next LOL....

Not yet. But I'm I'm reasonably happy with my eGos and Rivas + Boge 2.0 and 2.5Ω cartomizers and eGo-t atties and tanks. And my little SmokeStik or kr808 batts for driving or going out.

This is my Masterpiece III. It uses the wick and coil from a KR808 CE-2 cartomizer and part of a 510 base fitting. Everything else is made from scratch. It is specifically made for the Hello 016 battery. The removable mouthpiece also seals the reservoir, making it very easy to refill from a juice bottle.
At the present time I am building my Masterpiece IV. It is a tank version with a larger diameter and will fit any battery with a 510 fitting.
The technique I developed for using these things does not harm the wick. About the only thing I have to worry about is popping the atty. This particular one has been refilled an untold number of times and I have no idea how long it will last.

Good job, br! Are you keeping track on a calendar to see how it will last? I wish I were handy making things like that.
I haven't kept track of how long my mods last. As a general rule, I use one until I develop a new one that works better.
where's the line forming for your cast-offs?
My mods were designed to emulate an ultra light cigarette, so I doubt if they would be suitable for most other folks.
