Exactly Chris. If it's someone that we personally know, then I think it's ok to ask them. As far as those that we don't know, it's best that we just let them come to us.

Truth Tibs. I do remember thinking that I would turn in March sometime back in January, but then it slipped my mind again. Of course, I might just be a special case. Rather often I forget that I put a load of laundry in the washer, or to set the timer for the casserole in the oven and then have to guesstimate how long it's been in there.

Stormy's list was a good thing, in case there was someone on there that one or more of us know. I'm just saying that we shouldn't be aggressive in searching out new vets. If veteran status doesn't faze them, then they won't care about a welcome thread in the vets forum.

but really, most people do not pay attention to their status or what it means.

One mod to each member of the welcoming committee. Fortunately I'm the only one who has that title. LOL
ClassyCindy and Br change that month. There must be some others that we know.
I just did a forum search for the term 'April', forwarded to that particular month, and then paid attention to the introduction threads. Granted, it's probably by no means complete, but I did page through to weed out those that only posted a handful of times and hadn't posted since last year. We actually had a lot more joiners in April '10 but I guess vaping just didn't "stick" with a lot of them.

Your forgetfulness can't be as bad as mine. Sometimes I get up from my computer to go do something, then can't remember why I got up.
My old mods will be one of a kind collector items one of these days, and be worth a lot of money. Viewed from that perspective, I don't know if I can afford to become an old vet.
