Yesterday the settings kept telling me that Classwife posted in the jOker thread. When I went there there was no post.

I "subscribe" to a thread by posting in it...then just check "my posts"....turns out that this latest version of the forum drops threads if you haven't posted in them in a long time though.
That's funny, CES, b/c I looked @ my notif's, and it said the j0kers thread had 61+4 posts. Wow, that's a lot of chattin!
I leave it open when I'm buzzing around w/housework, I can glance @ it occasionally. I will stop & answer PMs only b/c it's usually personal - other than that, I let them build up til I'm ready. I've been trying to catch up on my yardwork. When I go out there, I think of how Samwise and Frodo had to hack their way thru thickets & that's what I feel like, lol.

I just went in to my setting and clicked on notif. immed. by email. I guess I don't how to do it your way. I like the ability or reading the posts w/o logging in.
Ha ha, the 10 acres I had in Oregon was easier to keep up; the livestock took care of it. I wonder the neighbors would get cranky if I got myself a goat for a lawnmower or maybe some geese - cept I'm scared of geese - I got chased as a youngster.
There's one for sale in the local paper! And I had the same thought.
Then said, noooooooooooo.
Geese can be mean. There's a lot of growth around here and it's hard to keep up with it.
I wondered why I got a $6 elec. bill for last month - now I know - the meter reader must be scared of spiders hiding in tall grass. Sheesh, I get spiders on me all the time; most of them don't bite, but when they do it takes your breath away.
Sometimes I get bit by spiders, I don't even realize it, until I see the bite mark.
I got bit when I lived in Santa Barbara and did some ivy clearing. I was down for a week with it. My doctor told me to lighten up and let the menfolk do the mens work. Then I started bartering neighbors for guy stuff. I would do mending, ironing, and errands for them.
That was a good idea. I think you were a flower child, Sea, or the child of a flower child.
