Some of the early ones I remember were not on a grille. They were a pit in the ground with hog wire stretched over it.

I'm going to be a little intermittent on some of the July changeovers (as if i've been here regularly lately). I start traveling again in July and early August.

I'm in DC next week and then go back to Dauphin Island at the end of the month (through mid-august. I hope the internet access is more consistent than it was in May)
no day care there- not sure there's even a vet on the island. Most of the time I have friends stay with them...but I'm going to board them for that trip (ouch)
