I was reading the Zombie thread when I saw a post from somebody asking about the Snail in people's sig. I _thought_ it was CES who replied with a link that I couldn't follow...
I researched, found out I had to be a member, then signed up. Then I started reading the Snail Thread trying to be careful not to be there when others were on (I didn't know about stealth mode yet). One morning, Whiskey caught me...

Well if it was found at least we'd know if he could post in there without the required 5---which might have been 15 back then.

Definitely the most active thread around. I usually see a couple hundered new posts whenever I log on. Though, I show 500 pages in total since I have my settings at 40 posts per page. The default is 10.

My first (5) post(s) were made so that I could respond to a PM from Whiskey when she caught me reading about Snails 'n' stuff. It was a response to somebody asking "Who have you converted?" (or something like that). I hadn't yet caught on that I could start my own thread...
I was a noob, y'see...
But I think I'd only been reading for a day or three before I got caught...
then (for some reason) I seem to think I had to rack up another 10 so I could have an Avatar ... or was it a sig...?
You can tell it was an important day for me, since I recall so much about it...
