I had this problem for a week and began to distrust any advice given on the internet. I remembered seeing the java logo appear just after the trouble started and someone mentioned some of the malaware was attached to java. To get rid of this I clicked the following sequence Start then control panel, Java logo, temporary internet files, settings then you can either delete them or view them. I decided to delete so clicked delete files then OK then restarted computer and it was all OK after that and havent been redirected since. I had been trying every possible antivirus ware and none had worked so very pleased with myself. So the problem in my case was with a problem java temp file. Hope this works for you.
it was the fake java thing ??
I have some kind of virus and it sucks!
It is some kind of Google re-direct virus...
If I click on a link in Google it takes you somewhere else...
Ever since a Java app window popped up earlier this week, I've been having this issue.
I've been trying to run Malware Bytes & SuperAntiSpyware and it won't get rid of it, neither will MS Security Essentials.
