It's already there Classy. Just select the word you want to check and right-click on it. Correct/suggested words are in the pop-up.

ETA: If the word you are checking is spelled correctly, no 'correct/suggested' words are displayed.

I think the spell checker is in the browser you use. What do you use IE, Chrome, Firefox?
