Just had the power flicker off 3x here. Never done that more than once before. Plus there's a tornado warning. Oh yeah, on top floor (4th) of highest building on site .

The * by names means those are set. Still looking for that someone special for the others so everybody keep an eye out---go stalking if you want!!! And thanks for your efforts!

Welcome to the ECF Pre-Vet thread!
A Pre-Vet is an ECF member that is about to have their status "Turn" to ECF-Veteran on or about the anniversary of their ECF sign up. You also need anywhere from 70 and 75 post.
This thread is where you can hang out (courtesy of Whiskey creating this thread) and celebrate becoming an ECF-Veteran with other ECF members. You have the option (but not the obligation) to have an Avatar Theme Celebration on your turning day. You select a theme, and many of the group here will help celebrate by changing their avatars. Kind of an avatar costume party. You'll also get a bunch of congrats and a welcome thread created in a sub-forum for vets that pre-vets can't even see yet. If you want to have an avatar theme, start thinking about it!
We will not turn away last minute request, but please try to give us enough advanced notice so we can dig something up for pics. Two weeks prior to your turning date would be awesome.
We try to limit scheduling to the current and the following month.
If you are a pre-veteran and want a welcome thread in the Veteran's Forum and or an avatar theme for your turning day please do the following: Post in this thread and PM me your request.
This thread moves fast so as a final safeguard double check the list that is posted here several times a day sometime before your turning day.

We do our best to accommodate multiple members turning on the same date. Each member is free to choose their own theme; participants rotate and/or combine themes as desired.
Joining in on the celebration is for all members (new and old) so please feel free to participate in the themes for others if you wish. If you are not a Vet yet and want your pic added to Celebrant's thread in the Veterans Forum, there is a Depot located in the Sandbox.
Once you get to the Sandbox, look for the celebrant's thread and follow instructions.

It stormed here like crazy last night. It didn't last long though. Stay safe all!!!
We get a shower here every now and then. Just enough to make the grass grow like weeds.

Well... it's two hours later... so I shouldn't even comment... but
what the heck are you doing typing on ECF when you should be in the basement of your building? Hmmmmm?

heh heh, still around. Actually lost power at work (happens about once a decade) and a lot of the surrounding area. Had us stand around outside under the eaves for ~ an hour, then said we could go home. Ya ever try to leave some place with 2 exits and a few thousand people?? Needless to say, it took awhile; but I'm home now. And....no power outages here
