Sorry Tib, I'm not instigating, I tried it and it works fine for me.

I wasn't rubbing it in, Tib, I just wanted people to know that the link works.

What other thread? who frizzed off Atty? I'll go give um a piece of what's left of my mind.
(username removed) Perhaps the coil is crushed together, which would increase the resistance of the wire at certain points of it. If you can carefully disassemble the carto, you can unwrap the filler & wrap from it and see where the problem lies.
Don't bother....even a small fraction would overload him. He posted a comment back to me ... I ignored it. However, he just posted in anther thread about a higher than expected reading on a meter for a carto (like 50/75 ohms)... Obviously a bad connection somewhere. He told them to take it apart and see if the coil wires are touching, since that would increase the resistance".
Of course, it would decrease the resistance, if anything. lol. I feel much better now. OTOH... that user won't get help, 'cuz I'm not going to run to that thread and correct him or it could be interpreted wrong.
For what it's worth, (username removed) is clearly a ......
Yeah, I'm done. Sorry. Some days, we all have em, something just manages to get under your skin, when other times it wouldn't. Forgetaboutit, as they say. Thanks gang.
