I would love to do hourly updates, but there are days where I am gone for more than a few hours myself. It's how this whole catch-up summary business came about to begin with. Don't push your luck.

No fixed garbage day for us too. We live in a town-house community, and have a central garbage area in the underground parking lot. We dump our garbage and recycling items into the big garbage containers, and they get hauled away by somebody.

I used to live in a gated community like that where it was a central location... I have also lived in a place where trash day was 2x a week. I currently live where it happens once a week is late on the weeks that have a holiday on Monday and other random times that they forget to tell us about. I hate trash day since I have to drag all the trash to the curb and hope that someones random dog does not come along and rip it all out of the can between the time I take it out and the garbage man decides to show up.
