OK, now seriously. Believe it or not... and e-cig question/discussion. I'd start a thread, but I'm after friend's opinions here. And before you get on my case whiskey... this is all your fault (well, kinda)....

This guy, in this thread... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...15469-am-i-only-one-who-uses-attys-carts.html
says that the cart's in the OP's link are really cool. They're tank carts for standard atties. Not tanks with cartos, but carts. Whis says she uses TW's mega carts. So... it got me thinking about dripping vs using carts again and wondering if they finally worked all the B.S. out. I've been dripping for a year just 'cuz I was sick of all the B.S. with cartos, cart mods, springs, foam, PTB, .... etc.

So, how many have tried the new carts and are they any good. I trust your guy's opinions.

Those look like smartcarts for the 510. I haven't tried them but smartcarts don't exactly have a stellar reputation. Theoretically they'd work better than standard carts with polyfill but I can also see a potential for leakage here if you use thin juice. Might have to play with the PG/VG ratios to find out which one wicks best while not leaking through entirely.

Aren't the smart carts a take off of the mod where you cut the end off a carto condom and cut an 'X' in the middle of it and use that as a 'lid' for the cart? :?: :D

Are they? It's easy to get confused about which is which, but both were essentially hacks back in my early days of vaping. (I tried the endcap "X" mod. Got juice everywhere. :D Tried a variety of plug mods too but never got any to work well.)

I dripped exclusively for months (it didn't take me long to figure out that carts were erratic, underperforming failures), using Genuine Joye 510 attys, 2.3Ω. I'd tried a couple of different cartos, had traumatic experiences with both and wrote them off entirely; in hindsight, I realize now I'd been of the notion that a carto was a carto was a carto, and picked out whatever was cheap.

Perhaps three months ago, I was proselytized into trying IkenVape cartos, in particular his 801 Fushions and V2 Gold 510s, and they performed a world apart from the crap I'd tried early on.

Mind you, their flavor saturation doesn't meet that of dripping, but when out in the world—especially when driving, for instance—they're a good deal better than merely acceptable.

Sometime later, I tried the Liquinator cartomizer tanks from Vaporescence, and these prove to be the third exponential improvement of my vaping career; they make the 1000th draw from a slotted Fushion taste like the 1st.

Of late, dripping is something I do at home by the fireplace, while collapsed into an easy chair. Oh, and I've switched to Ikenvape 2.5Ω Cannon atties, which outperform 510 attys of any stripe considerably.
