You weren't up in one o' those skyscrapin' thingies up there, were ya break?
I came out of my pool and was in my garage getting pool supplies.
My neighbors came out of their homes and also felt the house shake.
No phone service for 12 minutes.
One colleague, originally from California, estimated the quake at "a 5, definitely a 5" immediately after it happened. Pretty close.
lol - when did staten island become known for skyscrapers?
A few months ago I would have been. Since I've been laid off, just lounging around the pool. It's nice being retired.
