A couple of years ago we had some friends that bought a Mac and had nothing but trouble with it. They were constantly asking son to look and fix. Trouble as in software not hardware so the store they bought it from would do diddly squat. 
I doubt he ever owns one, and frankly I'm leery.

Yeah, I had probs too finding certain software for the Mac. I had one of the first Power Macs - it was awesome. So much better than the Mac Quadras. Sometimes it would take hours for graphics to render on the Quadras.
hi everyone, if i lose power this weekend is there anything i can macguyver to make my ecig charge?

Jerry, are you sure you don't want to go inland a ways? I think you should grab your pa and head inwards a bit - he may be kickin and draggin his feet, but no point in having a cavalier attitude about this - better to be safe, doncha think?
And then there's Breaktru right on Staten Island - that's pretty scary.

Hope my son wasn't just humoring me when he said he was going to relocate inward a bit. Sheesh, I bet I won't get much sleep tonight.

I'm guessing its a bit too late in the game to get a car adapter/charger...
- but maybe someone else will have some ideas?
I know I am kickng myself for not having a car charger. I have a passthru, two usb port chargers and a wall charger. People are stocking up on canned good while I plan for a vapin weekend LOL
Any ol' electronic store will have a USB blackberry or iphone car charger, the kind that you plug a USB connector into. Should work just as well.
The PT should work on a car adapter to USB - maybe you can find one locally? Like at RadioShack or an electronics department. Then you could use your USB chargers on it as well...

Hmmm...maybe look for something like this Duracell Instant Lithium-ion Battery Charger - DUR37635. For USB charging.
Idea for the future:
We have one of these Xantrex Jazz Portable Power 250 Powerpack that the wife bought years ago. Apparently this model is discontinued, now they have the 400 model
I have a Puck mod (NiMH rechargeable batteries - AAA) so in a pinch, like this upcoming weekend, I can use regular alkaline AAA batteries
OMG ok that is what I will do-thanks to all of you!! I quit November 27, 2010 so no hurricane would make me succumb to cigs, but I am relieved to know I won't have to worry about my precious vaping!
Now that's a nifty little gizmo!
Here's another future idea for any of you who are using "big batteries" on a TR-001 charger. I just got mine this week and it works well:

We got one of those powerpacks!!! It is handy.
Yup, got one too. It's just in-case the car decide it wants to stop working too. Nothing is keeping me from vaping, even if I have to get one of those hand crank flashlights and rig it to charge my batts. Hint hint!
