One of the very few characters who ever got the better of Bugs Bunny was a small inoffensive turtle. Can you remember his name? Obscure Cartoon Characters


Cecil. Cecil made three appearances in all, from Tex Avery in 1941, Bob Clampett in 1944, and Friz Freleng in 1947. Each cartoon was a retelling of the classic Aesop's Fable "The Tortoise and the Hare" and of course, Cecil confounded Bugs each time, although not always honestly. Cecil also made a cameo appearance in the film "Space Jam" in 1996.
