1) Auto is better (no button)
2) Just have to make sure base/point is wide enough to blend in.
3) use a round cart rather than whistle tip
4) you may need air flow in the tip

i've put it together with my extended 78mm Manual Volt battery... and it blends in well at the bottom... it's just far too long..

and i will have the regular round carto's on it since it's not an atomizer/mouthpiece setup.

as for airflow, it seems to be doing fine atm, but i know that might change since i havent glued the ink cartridge inside yet,.. so what do you suggest?

and also what colors would look best with a silver ink cone/tip, black rubber grip, and black carto's... ?

i was thinking maybe yellow or orange ;)

You should post pics in the modder's area.

JBWeld is an epoxy, and it's non-conductive. Remember .... you'll want to change the ink cart/tip so don't glue that part in, just the holder part... I would guess you could remove it while gluing.

Get short cartos?

Colors are OK, orange/black for Halloween. lol. Not stealthy tho if that's what you're after.

it was my understanding that you glue the ink tip in so that it's always exposed.. and i would assume to glue the grip on the pen tip as well...

and do they make short 808 carto's? or would i have to cut some of mine down?

and i'm guessing white or black would be the best colors for stealth, maybe even silver :2cool:

You need to give it a name.
"I will love him, and hug him, and squeeze him, and I will call him George."

Aren't V4L or Volt carts short anyway?

I'd glue it all in except the ink cart (the ball point part with the little straw filled with ink that should come out and be replaceable).

if i dont glue the ink cartridge tip in, there's nothing holding the ink cartridge in firmly. Humpty says "just fill it up with glue" lol,... you might be right about wanting to change the cartridge eventually though,...

how would i be able to keep the ink cartridge from wobbling though, so that it's extended and write-friendly?

IDK... it's a hands-on/I have to mess with it kind of thing since I haven't built one. Maybe just the smallest dab of, say Elmer's glue, or something on the end so you could break it lose and pull it out and replace it. It won't stick very well to plastic since it's a wood/paper glue. IDK. Tape wedge to make it tight fit??? You get the idea. You have to "make it work". There's no 100% answer on this stuff. That's part of the fun.

P.S. Thanks for the 'like' Pokey. lol. uA's prolly too young to know that reference.... lol.
