Well, it's late and I'm probably going to bed shortly, but glad to hear from Jerry that all is on its way to returning to some level of normalcy. Also this new mix I've made seems to be doing the trick. I didn't want to dilute too much with the vodka because I wasn't really aiming to go to bed drunk tonight, so the VG let me really cut it well down. (And, by the by, VG really is sweet, isn't it?) I can vape more of this stuff without the same sort of ill effects. I was so happy about that I mixed down the rest of the Toasted Marshmallow bottle, which just happened to have almost exactly half left. So now it's full, and I'm off to bed. 'Night all.
Hi, Mindfireld. I' not sure why you're diluting, but whatever the reason, you can use old plain distilled water also. It will dilute the nic strength and the flavor, but it works fine. Up to 10-15% should be fine. In case you knew it, please disregard this unsolicited piece of advice.

My internet is back up. Hooray !!! I missed everyone and I'm glad to be back. I have a lot of reading to do, to catch up with the threads, but not tonight, I'm too tired.
Cindy called me twice this week to see if I was ok. That was so very nice of her to do that.
A couple of days ago, I did a walking tour of my neighborhood. South of me, there wasn't any damage, except for a house 1/2 mile from me. A large tree was uprooted, crushed the roof of a car that was parked under it and landed on the roof of the house. Today the tree had been removed and I could see the damage to the car. The roof of the house had some minor damage, but fortunately nothing serious. As far as I know, no one was hurt in the house.
A bit north of me, is where I saw some power line and pole damage. My heart sank as I saw about an 1/8 of a mile stretch of downed lines and damaged poles. I think the electric company just did a patch job, so we could get our power back, as soon as possible. There may still be some temporary power outages over the next few weeks, as no doubt they will be making more permanent repairs.
I had a lot of small branches all over my yard, I got them cleaned up on Tuesday. One branch did land on the roof of my house, with one heck of a thud. It slid down the roof and ended up on the telephone and cable tv/internet line. I had to go out in the middle of the storm, to get it off the lines, before it did any damage to them. Fortunately, the wind wasn't too strong, when I went out there, so it didn't hinder me getting rid of that branch.

As the guest of honor it's not up to you to get someone to start any threads. We do that for you. But if you have someone special in mind, PM me your request. Please keep in mind though, said person must be an ECF Veteran.
All welcome threads should be started in the Veterans Forum EARLY morning the day before. If that is not possible, the night before.

A Pre-Vet is an ECF member that is about to have their status "Turn" to ECF-Veteran on or about the anniversary of their ECF sign up. You also need anywhere from 70 and 75 post.
This thread is where you can hang out (courtesy of Whiskey creating this thread) and celebrate becoming an ECF-Veteran with other ECF members. You have the option (but not the obligation) to have an Avatar Theme Celebration on your turning day. You select a theme, and many of the group here will help celebrate by changing their avatars. Kind of an avatar costume party. You'll also get a bunch of congrats and a welcome thread created in a sub-forum for vets that pre-vets can't even see yet. If you want to have an avatar theme, start thinking about it!
We will not turn away last minute request, but please try to give us enough advanced notice so we can dig something up for pics. Two weeks prior to your turning date would be awesome.
We try to limit scheduling to the current and the following month.
If you are a pre-veteran and want a welcome thread in the Veteran's Forum and or an avatar theme for your turning day please do the following: Post in this thread and PM me your request.
This thread moves fast so as a final safeguard double check the list that is posted here several times a day sometime before your turning day.

We do our best to accommodate multiple members turning on the same date. Each member is free to choose their own theme; participants rotate and/or combine themes as desired.
Joining in on the celebration is for all members (new and old) so please feel free to participate in the themes for others if you wish. If you are not a Vet yet and want your pic added to Celebrant's thread in the Veterans Forum, there is a Depot located in the Sandbox.
Once you get to the Sandbox, look for the celebrant's thread and follow instructions.
