Hi Chris, I was 11 when the 60s started and 21 when they ended. I guess you could say, I grew up in the 60s.

I was 8 when the 60's ended Jerry. I know they were difficult times for young men over 18.

hey....wait a minute? you grew up? didn't you get the memo? If you haven't grown up by the time you're 30 you don't have to

About the same for me.
Grew up in a house hold where women were treated like second class citizens. Loved Mom and she just didn't know better. Left home right out of high school and lived under the premise that wasn't the way it was going to be. Dear ole Dad and brothers didn't appreciate it much, especially when all my sisters followed suit.

You're just a kid too, Chris. :)

thanks for that Jerry :)

My mother was really tough. She just let my Dad "think" he ran everything.
I'm still trying to figure out why it never works on hubby.

let me know if you figure it out. I could use those skills (i promise to use them only for good)

heh, I was a surprise! My poor dad was 49 when I was born! Thought he was done changin diapers till I came along. I have 2 half brothers that are both 25 or so years older than me. I have a niece that's 3 years older, I've never been able to get her to call me aunt Lynlee :lol

My mom didn't think she could conceive. She hates going to doctors. She thought I was a tumor and didn't go until it was big enough she thought it was serious. Found out she was pregnant the end of January and I was born at the end of March!

You are young, Lynlee. I graduated from high school, 11 years before you were born !!!
