I chose soccer as a theme, and I have found out some people really don't like soccer too much!
Mine too Classy and that's how I actually got into enjoying it. My daughter played on a team that was in one of the most competetive leagues in the country. When her team finally made it to the top division, they were playing against some of the best teams in the country. I have seen some of the girls names on the Olympic team and top level college rosters.
My daugter was a great player until she tore the ACL in her left leg one game. 8 months later, in her 3rd game back from recovering from the surgery, she tore the ACL in her right leg. She hasn't touched a soccer ball since and it's been 12 years.
Anyway, watching that high level youth soccer got me watching and enjoying high level pro and national team play.

We have a running joke here in this thread with tibs, jerry and I (and others) kidding about Americans not knowing much about soccer and offside-rules, colored cards, and such. But we are kidding around
