Why don't we just go ahead and reserve the 31st for Halloween? We don't currently have anyone scheduled for it... and if we have a turning on that day, we can just celebrate on the 30th (with fireworks on the 31st). The avatar change gang will have fun with Halloween if we schedule it or not. So might as well......

that's a good idea Atty. or if anyone comes forward for halloween we can just incorporate the chosen theme with halloween avis.
Yeah CES, I'm open to all options. I just didn't want Halloween to overshadow someone's theme. Particularly if it ends up being one of those unicorns/rainbows/glitter themes. I'd hate to have to halloween that up... kinda dualistic/mutually exclusive. We can play it by ear.
Either that... or anyone that wants to celebrate on the 31st gets "Halloween" as their theme automatically.

Good morning, I see that the pow wow is all over now, (thanks again gang) the Night shift must have worked their butts off picking up all the paper and left overs. To day I do have to get out and work on that car. I got the parts yesterday and didn't even touch it. Oh yea yesterdays pic contest. I scored 3rd place but was bumped up to 2nd because the guy that took 1st wasn't allowed to enter anymore beginner contests and now can only enter in the advanced ones. So it is for a good reason not that he did something wrong.
Today's pic is just for fun and isn't so good but I think it's cute. if you vote it is only worth a 6 or 7 it's not so good.

You'll love this. I was walking through the mall the other day. I had my box mod in it's cell phone case, that and it's gummy tank where a cell phone's antenna would be. The case has some NDN bead work on it. anyway as I walked past the phone guy's booth he asked me who's service I had.
I took it in my hand and said,
Oh this, no it is only for text messages. Ya see I'm an Indian and I only use it to text the chief. then I took a big drag and puffed out 3 big puffs, looked him dead in the eye and said "Smoke Signals" then walked off. As I left I heard him say "What the Hell".

For those starting Welcome and Sandbox threads: They should be started EARLY morning the day before. If that is not possible, the night before.

Besides celebrating this milestone day on this thread, we schedule the events and keep a schedule list.
No one is automatically added to the list so if you're a non vet, you have to request to be added. How to do this and to check out your options (which can vary), please visit PreVet FAQs.
All members, new and old, are free to join these celebrations. Vets can post in the Welcome threads in the Veteran's Forum but non vets can't because non vets can not see that forum yet. For non vets to get a post into the Welcome Thread in the Veteran's Forum follow the Sandbox instructions in PreVet FAQs.
