Div, i think they do two layers of stitches- one set internally and one set externally. Even if there's a pull on the external ones, the internal should be ok. If she's eating, drinking and moving around she's probably doing great.

best guess, maybe 2 1/2 -3, we got her from a rescue and it was their guess. don't know why she wasn't spayed earlier, but I think it was set aside since the previous owner was in a car accident and paralyzed. She couldn't take care of her dogs anymore.

We took in a 2 year old goldie that still didn't get done, but had to do it before we adopted.
