Morning Folks, Congrats again Div!!!!!
Sounded like a blast last night![]()
Just registered my cell phone on the national do not call list for telemarketers. Get yours registered folks because the numbers are being released to them this month.
1-888-382-1222 is the number to do it at. You have to call it with your cell phone you want to register.
Morning Tom(love the bookmark) & Gov...Great idea Gov...I hate those calls!!!!!!
gov - i think this is just a reoccurrence of fake alarms which have been circulated for years ...... registering your number can do no harm but it's not necessary.
i believe this statement from nov 2010 is still true:
The FTC also has debunked the incorrect message on its Web site, which states: "You may have received an e-mail telling you that your cell phone is about to be assaulted by telemarketing calls as a result of a new cell phone number database; however, that is not the case. FCC regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell phone numbers. Automated dialers are standard in the industry, so most telemarketers dont call consumers on their cell phones without their consent."
