Honestly, JaG, my IE 9 is as fast as Chrome now, if not faster. I cleared my cache and cookies and deleted a lot of junk from my files. It really works great now.

I tried all three--IE 9, Chrome and Firefox. I thing that FF may be the best one, but I'm so used to my IE that I don't I'm going to switch any time soon. But I do use Chrome for some searches.

IE9 is faster than IE8, but my IE9 is on a Win7 64 bit machine, Chrome on all. I like the simplicity of Chrome, took getting used to, but IE9 copied its look. Chrome is a good end user product, takes care of everything, less fidgeting. I don't have to bother with cookies and cache unless I felt like it.

I'm practical. If I find a faster popular browser, I'll switch over. The last version of FF I tried felt slower than Chrome.

But Katya Ghostery gets rid FF & Plus 1 and IT DOES GET FASTER. :)

Really? I'm back to my usual speed, if not faster, with IE 9. I just hate downloading stuff I don't really need...

I hate those buttons with a passion, though. I would like them to disappear. I was really hoping that ECF would come up with an option to disable, I asked several times in the "Slow" thead, but Roly ignored my questions. I don't want to be a pest...

It comes down to personal preferences at this point. My daughter uses all three...

Brave new world.

Another plus is that a lot of people gathering stats aren't using my computer anymore! :)

My "Wheeee" post last night was after I got rid of the buttons.
