I store avis on my computer, downloaded, edited. Pics I post go into pb.
I just use PB for storing stuff I might need in the future for making new avatars.
I do keep some of the stuff there that I haven't put text too yet to reuse later.
As I said, tinypic is great for the avi's I use here because once the names go on, I'll never use it again.

I didn't like them, very slow, but good for storing a few photos.
I'm not over my limit, I can't be... It was their image (PB's) that keeps disappearing. The pics from my album work fine.

Photobucket is good place to store things that you want to save long term. You'll just have to put up with hiccup moments now and then.
For short term, use tinypic.
