This is just freaking cool!!!!!! I was going to put it in Wulfe's welcome thread... but I realized that non-vets won't see it right away... so I'm posting it here instead. Hope he reads back:

Oh, and just so you know Wulfe.......I waited a while for 16 bit to arrive on scene with much anticipation ;) Although to be fair, the Intel based IBM PC was 16 bit, with 8 or 16 bit datapath (8088/8086). I started with the micros (8-bit) like Commodore PET, 64, Apple ][ and //e

However, I love it that the younger to middle agers are reinventing it. Lots of promise for very creative generations.

I was right there with ya brother, the day of 16-bit was a epic day for computers and gaming alike. ;) Also big kudos on that PBS vid in post #963 it took me back and made me want to do some chiptunes again. :D

that's what i thought, atty! my contacts are empty in gmail so, if my account gets hijacked, there are no addresses in there to get spammed - but now that my lap top crashed i wish i hadn't done that! :laugh:
