Actually, solid white is not uncommon. Most are put down at birth. Most breeders dont want someone owning a deaf and soon to go blind 200 lb dog. Some breeders will keep them for themselves. I trained one to handsignals.
She was a certified therapy dog for me. But that is the exception to the rule.
No one has ever recorded an actual albino dane YET. An albino will have pink/red eyes.
The solid white have a light blue eye, that does reflect pink in light.
The white are referred as "lethal white" as they dont carry for any color other than white.

Yes, Pam I was in a super big hurry because I thought I had missed your special day. The article said.....Sugar, the solid white.... I put albino and that was my ignorance. sorries. The article also said the doggie was owned by the guy that had it as a puppy. He had trained it to stay close by his side and the other doggies showed it how to do everything. They are all a happy family.
The kitty came some time later (I think) was reading fast, but it did say that the kitty was Sugar's best friend, which I found quite wonderful due to the kitty being so much smaller. Course I am a kittie person, but love dogs and all animals.Happy Day to you!!!
