Need you Atty. Haven't been here because of laptop probelms. Did a system restore when I couldn't figure anything else out.

Atty I couldn't do a thing for hours yesterday. I tried different browsers and all. What it did......Open laptop, log in, open site,navigate, go to type something and nothing..computer freeze,,,pop up says "Chrome(or other) has stopped working. Options to shut down or wait.

Software crash. Probably best to reinstall chrome. IDK what caused it.

Probably best to run an antivirus scan too. Particularly since you are in wifi (there could be other campers that try to connect to your computer...for example. You're all on the same network... the local wifi. Not saying that's it... but....).

It's not Chrome Atty. I tried IE and FF too and they did the same. I ended up doing a system restore.

So what are you using now? Reinstall FF then....

Using Chrome Atty. I did all the updates and scans.

Sorry, misread ya.

Well, that's about all ya can do. It's working now.....

Only other precaution I can think of....don't leave it on if you go away from it for any length of time (you probably don't anyway).

Any virus could be an issue. Or any hacking. Or just bugs. Or.......or, or, or....

Good point though. I don't even run Java. I'm sick of hearing about the bugs/hacks. If something requires Java...I skip it and find another solution. (Linux people will cringe at this). Also, not that same as JavaScript... that I DO allow in the browser.
