Pre-wound coils

Hi. New to Forum.

Been vaping for about 3 years mostly using ce4s and various batteries and mods.

I recently purchased a aspire cf sub ohm battery and a geekvape ammit rta. I've had no problems building coils. To start I purchased kanthal pre-made coils with a "0.8" ohm resistance. I also purchased and ismoka ohm meter.

I've used four coils so far and the resistances have ranges from 1.2 to 1.8. Is this the norm with premade coils in terms of accuracy?

Hi, not really understanding the question. The coils will be as accurate as you made them or purchased in the desired ohms.

With the Aspire CF subohm I think if you aim for .30-.50 ohms you will get a more satisfying vape.

Use Steam-engine.org to see how many wraps you need for what size/type wire for desired ohms.

These coils were purchased from canvape and rated at 0.8 ohms.

Thanks for the advice. When I start making my own I'll aim for .4 ohms

Loose screws can cause resistance problems.
But if everything is tight, there shouldn't be such enormous jumps in resistance.
Then you should beat the vendor silly with these crappy coils.
