Pre wrapped coils?

I just bought some pre wrapped coils from Amazon because I wanted to see how they would work. It's says they're wrapped at 1.0 ohm already. Does anyone know or has used pre wrapped coils before? Are they good?

No, I haven't.

Are you new to rebuildables? Make sure you have an ohm reader or DMM to check the build BEFORE you fire it on your mod (unless your mod can do that for you).

Yes I am. I bought an ohm reader as well to be safe

What kind of coils did you get? Kanthal? Nichrome? NR-R-NR? What device are you using?

There are many premade coils on the market--some are good. Fasttech sells premade coils in bundles of 50 or 100, prewicked and with no wicks, for 2-3 bucks a bundle. Many people use them and claim they are better than stock coils. Some fancy places sell premade twisted kanthal coils for rebuildables.

I haven't used them but if i was to then as already said i'd check the resistance first. Thats for each time you use them.

I've tried a few just to get a sense of what I was dealing with, chances are these are standard kanthal with wick or coils for RDAs sold by fasttech or a bunch of other shops around. They're perfectly fine, though between you and I the kanthal I use to do my coils seems clean enough that I generally don't bother bother torching it -- but I do torch the premade ones. Hard.
