Yep. Bought two of those.

I just order them when I don't NEED them, and the wait is tolerable. :)

I've bought a Couple of those Samplers also.

They make Great Gifts/Exchange for Favors for someone who Vapes and wants to different types of coils.

Thanks guys, just placed an order from them, but added this to my wishlist for next time I order.

I've had the Kanthal equivalent of this and they aren't a bad assortment of coils for the money.

Just received my coils from prebuiltcoils dot com and they seem well built. I won’t be trying any soon as I just put in a UD prebuilt staggered fused Clapton ss 316l .18 coil yesterday and I’m enjoying it. Vaping it at 55.5 watts and it is producing flavorful vapor and wicking brilliantly so I don’t want to break it down soon. I may have to lower my nic in my juice though. I was chain vaping trying different watts and trying tc and I got too much nicotine. Didn’t feel good but I usually don’t hit it that often so I might just make a separate bottle with lower nic for when I try a new coil. My usual juice is 20mg’s

Yeah, I now have a few setups "outside" my nic tolerances that I really like. I've lowered the nic in a couple of my e-liquids because of it. Because I really like the setups, but man, I can suck down my 2 ml Siren V2 like it's going out of style (if it ever was in style) and then one AOI whose lowest limit is 30 watts (SO HIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL). I like them both, but I'm fairly certain I don't need MORE nicotine....

ummm, wow at that much nic. I vape similar ohms/watts in my rda's and mix my juice at 4.5mg and sometimes think that I should keep the 4.5mg for rta's and mix 3mg again for the rda/squonks.

i was looking into buying some prebuilt ss coils. Prebuiltcoils dot com seems to have a good selection and decent prices. Has anybody bought from there that can share their experience? Also do you have any other suggestions for a place that has a good selection of stainless steel coils for a good price and are quality built? Exotic coils since I got a single coil RTA and it might give me good flavor with the extra wire.

I just got the VandyVape superfine “MTL” wire in the mail the other day. It’s a spool, but already made fused Clapton.

I’m a wire noob, so I have no idea what it all means. But it’s two cores of 30g, and a wrap of 38g, all SS316L.

I made a coil, NO PROBLEM with my limited skill set. I did a 2.5mm id, 5 wrap, no real spacing. Came out to .55 ohms. Way lower than I usually Vape, but I’ve really been enjoying the flavor at 22.5 watts, or 350 in TC.

I believe it was $5 for 10 feet

More wraps will raise your resistance. 8 wraps should get you up to a 1.0Ω.

I’m not sure 8 wraps with that wire would even fit in the Ares!

I’m not concerned about the ohms, if I like the vape, I’ll take it, hah!

It definitely produces a different flavor than my traditional kanthal 1.5, 1.2, or single SS .8.

I like to vape at 0.5 ohms, and have got a new RDA which is dual coil. I have 28 ga ss 316 wire, but the coils need 9 wraps each to get 0.5 ohms together and get bent out of shape since the wire is so thin.

Have no clue what to do...should I just find ready made 1 ohm coils or what wire should I use? I want ss316 so I can use temp control.

Are you going to use this RDA on a Mech Mod? Or is it going on a Regulated Mod?

Oops, regulated mods only.

Since you are using a Regulated Mod, lowering the ohms wouldn't be a Safety issue. And the Hit, of course, can be adjusted using Wattage

I'd try a 3mm ID with 7 Wraps using that 28ga 316. That should get you in the 0.8 Ohm neighborhood per coil and 0.4 Ohms for a Pair.

If your rda has enough room inside the barrel/deck: bumping the coils up to 3.5 would get you down to 8 wraps, and 4mm would get you down to 7 wraps, and you would still be close to 0.5. But I personally would try what @zoiDman said as I doubt you would notice much of a difference between 0.4 and 0.5 once you find your sweet spot with temp/watts.

So I wrote to Advance Vape supplies, for the second time, asking for advise on what coils to get for my sample pack. No response again. So much for that.
Did you message directly from their site? Unusual to not get an answer within a day during business hours.
