I happen to come across a thread that had a picture of the Precise 10440. I'm looking through the threads here and can't find much information or pictures of this device. I've read that the battery life sucks for this device but it is a fine looking piece of work. I would like to see more pictures of different setup for this device. I also checked the website and there are none in stock and there are no photos. Hope I these are not discontinued, that would suck.

They are not discontinued, just out of stock and more are expected in towards the end of the month. Heres a link to some pictures on the Cloud 9 vaping site which also carries the P+ 10440:

Forcedfuel50, thank you for the quick response. Is the finish on this device satin or polished? I've seen one version where the finished appeared to be a polished finish.

The Precise Pluses are all satin finished. The pictures do not do justice to the finish, they are quite striking and hold up really well against fingerprints and scratching.

I'm not certain if the new P10s have vents but I know that my old style doesn't. Not much of a problem for me. The battery is tiny so a catastrophic failure probably won't be all that catastrophic. I use the recommended battery and I change them out well before they get too low. Every two hours or so.

As a side note, for the P10 owners that are looking for a nice vape, try the new micro sized LR cartos that are at several vendors. They're a little smaller than a standard 510 atty but vape great on a P10. Instead of dripping a LR atty, I just do almost the same thing with these. Pop on a drip tip and drip about 5-7 drops every few minutes in the cartos instead of 3 drops every few puffs with an atty. Way more convenient and still maintains that slim stealthy look.

I've seen them at COV and Madvapes. They just call them 1.7 ohm LR micro cartos. I think COV called them Renew cartos. No idea if that's the manufacturer or not. All I know is that my P10 had been gathering dust for a while since I switched from dripping to carto tanks. These lil buggers brought it right back to the top of my list. Sometimes you want something that's slim and sexy instead of a coke can on top of a D-cell flashlight.

I have both, I like both. They're very different, so I wouldn't recommend settling for an alpha 10440 if you're really wanting the p+10440, because you'll be disappointed. If you're wanting an alpha 10440 get it because you want an alpha 10440. I realize this isn't very helpful - sorry :(

I would ask David when he expects more in stock before making a decision!

Here's my satin PrecisePlus 10440. I've been vaping it with this setup (an HH357 and a VapeMate) for months and months with almost daily use. Like others have said, it's not to be underestimated. You do need a bunch of batteries, so what. The batteries are so light that it's no problem for me to carry around 4 extra if I have to. Think AAA. Depending on how hard I'm hitting it I get from 1 to 2 hours good vaping out of a battery.

A lot of people think of it as an out-on-the-town special occasion vape. Not me. This one stays in the house with me; it's so easy and light to carry around when doing chores, hang it on the lamp by the VapeMate, etc.

I had an original Precise 10440 (shiny) for a little while, I like the P+ better. I could tell the upkeep on the brass button for the old shiny Precise was going to be a hassle, you'd need to keep the electricity flowing extra well on that little booger. All solved with the rhodium button on the P+.
