I want to buy my first mod, but I can't decide which one to get. I am leaning towards the ELA, because it is American made. But, it will take forever to get. There are so many factors like durability, looks, waiting time, price, and many more. If I had to put my finger on the most important, then I think I want the one that "hits the hardest." I am pulling my hair out here. Please help!

Well Cobra, What are you planning on putting on top of this mod? That is where you will get your atomization from, and where you will be getting your "hit" from. If you are going to go with a dripper atomizer (hh357/cisco/etc) then the battery tubes in question will all do the job, and look stunning doing it. If you are going to get into a full rebuildable like an a7 or any one of the genesis atomizers, same holds true..... But if you are planning on screwing a Vivi or some other production cartomizer or clearo, these would be nice but wouldn't be a huge performance upgrade..... It really comes down to the feed system in question....

I think all the ones youre looking into are going to make you happy. The difference is things like customer service and warranty and depending on where you are, domestic vs international. If youre in the US and something needs to ever be repaired or replaced shipping costs come into play. Another factor, many Modders constantly update, or discontinue parts so that adds another what if.

Regarding the Polidiac vs ELA , I hear both are amazing in the conductivity area, difference is Poldiac is sterling silver and ELA has Gold and Rhodium. Silver has amazing conductivity but tarnishes, rhodium does not. With ELA you can take everything apart and either wipe with a cloth or rinse with mild soap and water and its clean. No need for abrasives or polishes etc.

The Roller I hear good things about, but not real sure about the details. I think you are probably going to get the best for your money with the Poldiac or ELA if you just think investment, you wont lose your money, if anything it will retain the original price or better. So it comes down to whether you like high ( not really high, but more) maintenance or easy with ELA.

Polidac will need more care, cleaning and more prone to surface scuffs; high fashion runway model
ELA is built like tank, very scuff resistant, lifetime warranty ; US Marine...... forever

BOth are beauties.

I really appreciate everyone chiming in on my first mod purchase. I have decided to purchase none of the above. The Roller looks like a great mod, but it doesn't have the overly excessive build quality that I am looking for in a mod. The Poldiac looks like it would go great with a tuxedo, but I am not that kind of guy. Super T manufacturing has my name written all over it. It is everything, that I am looking for in a mod. My first device was a Innokin SVD and the telescope system really turned me off. I know I said, that I was indifferent to telescope vs. fixed, but I was lying. I really want a Precise Plus 18650 and the ELA just isn't it. My mod will 95% be used for around the house in 18650 mode. The ELA looks great in 18350 mode, but in 18650 it looks chaotic with snags and weak points. Man do I want a Precise Plus 18650. Oh well, I give up. No wait, I have a new beat on a mod for me coming out in the next couple of days. Very hush hush, but if you pm me, then I might just share.

Cant wait to hear what you get, you seem to be thinking things through just like I was in December, I knew I wanted something rugged and as my main everday PV. It had to be rugged and something not to be babied. I wanted to have something versatile. Im sure what ever you have chosen will be great.

BTW, just have to ring in , and I hope I dont come off as a "fangirl" but Ive been using ELA all day in 18650 with a Kick and its feeling just fine. I have small problem hands and was afraid of the size and weight, but its solid, no wobble, its as solid as any one piece tube mod. Ive been putting it thru the grind as far as shaking it , dropping it ( on my bed, not the floor) nothing comes loose with the battery in it or not.HONEST.... Just had to add this info for others thinking about it.

I want to also add, that I am not one of those people who believes that cost makes things better, I love my Saber Touch which has been serving me well for almost a year and the Natural MOD is another great workhorse, hits really darn good even out of the box. With ELA this makes 3 real PVs other than my first KGO , which is still working.

Im really hoping that David makes a long accent ring for the ELA to cover her belly, LOL. For a tele MOD , ELA really doesn't look like expensive plumbing as most.

Yeah a long ring for 18650-mode sure would help a lot.

The ELA looks more like a solid carpenter tool than plumbing (GG anyone?), like an impact driver
