Just wanted to pass along what I have come up with for the fractional or hard to measure parts of DIY recipes.
I found using the juice me up calculator (LOVE it BTW!!!) that a lot of my measurements (especially for flavoring) would come to a funny decimal like x.47 or x.36....and while it could be guesstimated on a regular syringe, I found a better way to get it exact (at least for me).
I have a diabetic cat and have a TON of insulin syringes that hold a max 1/2 ml and are marked in units...0-50. Being that they are 1/2 ml syringes the 50 unit mark is equal to .5 ml and as such....each unit measure is .xx ml. So if my recipe calls for x.47 of a particular something, I measure to the 47 unit part to get the .47ml for my mix......
If it is x.83, then I use my reg syringe to get the x.5 and then switch to the insulin syringe for the .33 using 33 units mark on the syringe.
Gets EXACT results for remixing a favorite vape. And will take in vg with ease.
Just to note the needle on the insulin syringe is WAAAAY too small for any of the diy liquid (except maybe DW or PGA). If you want to use this method, the needles do not twist off like all other syringes, but they will wiggle free with pliers. They with their small housing just pop over the syringe opening thus having to wiggle off....but it is very little effort.
You can get insulin syringes at any pharmacy 10 to a pack. I get mine at wallyworld for a dollar and change per bag.
Sorry for the long post, trying to cover any questions I could think of that might pop up after reading my little tip
