PrecisePlus 10440

So I kind of wish I could post to the already existing topics about the PrecisePlus 10440 and join the discussion there, but my account is to new I guess. I was talking to David about the p+10440 about whether I should get a tank or cartomizer to go with the mod. He recommended that I get a dual coil cartomizer for it. I was wondering if ecf could give me some recommendations for a dc carto, or if you would recommend a different solution with the PrecisePlus 10440? I have never tried a dc carto, and did a little research on them. I read that they are best suited for a high voltage device because of the ohms, so is there a LR option for a dc carto? I really would like to try and hit around the 8 watts sweet spot.

I appreciate any input, thanks!

Does this use a single 10440 battery? Better carry extra spare charged batteries if you use dual coils.

Dc's for a 3.7v mod are 1.5 ohm, already extreme LR because they are two 3 ohm coils. So you get all of the power drain and none of the heat. You are basically vaping 2 standard coils at once.

So I bought some DC Carto's and they aren't firing. I don't know what the issue is. I can get one of them to make a cackle like it is firing, but I can't get any vapor out of it. Any suggestions? Do I need a bigger battery? The guy at SuperT, who I bought my PP10440 from recommended the LR DC cartos, but they aren't working!

weird - I just tried with p10440 and did not work but same battery and DC carto on ggslim worked?
That sounds more like your carto isn't making a good connection on the p10, because there's no protection circuit or anything on the precise.

I use 1.5 Ω single coil cartos on my p10 and p+10, and they work just fine.
