A freshly charged battery on a mech can put out 4.2 volts, but only for a little while, the majority of the battery life will be 3.7 volts, so you're vaping 0.5 volts higher on your spinner, and if that's where you like it, it would make sense that you'd like it more. If you want to make your k100 better, you could get a kick to make it vw

You just may be one of those that prefers a regulated variable device to a mech. Nothing wrong with it. A good regulated device will keep giving you that 4.2 far longer than a mech will because of the circuitry. Also you can tailor the voltage to what works best with your topper and juice using variable voltage devices rather than tailoring the topper to the juice and mech.

I don't much like my K100 but it is for a very different reason. I find the button painfully hard to press.

You can use an 18500/18490 battery + kick in the K100 if you want to get yourself the variable and keep using your k100

Nope your not nuts, somehow middle of last year mechs became the "mod to own" without much discussion as to the limitations you will encounter using one.

While they can be used with everything, they really do work optimally with very low resistances, something many prebuilt devices usually dont offer. and even better with the rebuildables that you can tune to perform how you want. -
