I've been using stainless mesh for a couple of weeks now... bought it pre-oxidized. It's pretty great. So durable... a single wick lasts a lot longer than cotton or hemp.
But when it gets a little dry, the taste is quite horrible. Squonk early and often. It takes vaping a few ml through it too, before it doesn't add a metallic nastiness to the flavor. But once it's broken in, it's really very good at letting the juice flavor really come through clearly.
