Before I end up with hundreds of these little bottles sitting everywhere can one expect the prefilled Cartomizers to taste and vaporize the same as the stuff they sell in the bottles? I plan on trying some different stuff and most places including SI have both and it would seem just a little cheaper to get a sample pack of cartomizers where there are several different flavors in one offering opposed to buying bottles that I may or not like. Kinda of a try before you buy approach. I like an occasional Menthol analog or I should say I used to like but I don't see the value in buying a 30ml bottle just to vape once or twice a week unless of course I can find one that tastes like a Newport (can I say that here?). I am also looking for the perfect coffee flavor, one of the two good things I got from my Blu experience was the coffee flavor disposables really did taste good, as does the one from SI but neither are exactly my cup of coffee (pun intended). This is actually kinda fun looking for different things you like. I think so far the Cowboy from SI will be my go to most of the time. 7 days and counting since I had a Marlboro Light and I can honestly say I don't miss them at all. NOTE: One bit of advice to anyone new that I have learned this week, Hide your lighters! and thank God for metal end caps, need I say more?

Yes the SI cartomizers taste as good as the bottled juice. It's advisable to get the sampler pack because like you mentioned you can try five flavours at once and see which you like. SI was my first place for vaping, I was a complete noob to it so I also bought the bottles first. I didn't know what a sampler pack was. I have since bought sampler packs, it's an affordable way to find your vape. It's the way to go..

It's weird how some people feel about different favors, I thought cowboy tasted like a half smoked cigarette you picked out of an ash tray and relit, and that cherry reminded me too much of a swisher sweet, but I have a friend that loves them both and hates classic grape. Definitely try the samplers!

I'm currently really loving Freedom my friend here said she thinks they smell like, well, erm... old socks. Don't let that put you off though she also said it's not nearly as bad as an analog, not even close. Also the taste is nothing like that, I got a nutty taste when I first tried them, I thought it was too much, now I wish they'd add more of that nutty? flavour.

The main reason I ask is I had bought a Blu disposable in the Cappuccino flavor which flavor wise when you could get a hit was IMO very good but when I broke down and bought the Blu starter kit I got a 5 pack of the same and it was just awful. I mostly am wondering if most suppliers use the same juice in their prefilled Cartomizers as they sell in the bottles. I am really glad I found this place SI and the X2 otherwise I would have just thrown in the towel again. This X2 with the Cowboy and the Coffee is way better than the Marlboro Reds and Lights that have been in my pocket for the last 35 or so years. I can honestly say for once I HAVE QUIT SMOKING!!! FOREVER, AMEN :toast:

Sitting down, facing forward.
I'm currently in search of that perfect flavor, like the Blu disposable "cigarette" flavor, but in the meantime SI RY4 has become my favorite, hands down. I have built an impressive collection of 3ml bottles from trying different sample packs of liquids from different vendors and the search goes on. I have found that it pays to use a clearo to test flavors with. They are easy to clean and provide a full flavored experience. Also, since they are large, I use the flavor much more than just a few drags from dripping onto an atomizer. I've found that what may taste great for a few drags can be downright distateful after a half day. I'm currently vaping my way through a 3ml bottle of blueberry from another, nameless, vendor just to use it up, can't say I particularly like it much though.

I've been a victim of trying many vendors because I was told they had knock you on your .... flavor..... and what I found out was exactly was awsum said above. Some things are great for a few drags, and not good after 1/2 a day. I've had people try some of my Kick Bass Vapor stuff and say it's "weaker" but then they love it after vaping it all day. Sometimes I get extra flavor with something because it's a dessert vape..... but my all day vapes are lighter on the flavor for a reason.

Oh, and save anything that isn't your favorite. Sooner or later you'll have taste buds change, or go through a period where you can't taste anything. When I get a dead taste bud day, I load up my least favorite juices. I don't waste the good stuff since I can't taste it anyway. LOL

I'm currently primarily vaping from tanks on my two mods. Luckily I have several flavors that I have found thus far that I deem worthy of buying in larger bottles and using in their own tank. However, I am always on the lookout for other quality juice. I buy sampler or small trial sizes of new flavors, and since I don't drip, I vape them in either Smokeless Image's new CE2's or another vendor's smaller size CE2. These are small enough that I don't have to use one of my larger tanks to audition the juice, and if I don't care for it, I just remove the juice from the CE2, rinse it with water, and fill with another juice to try.

This works better than what I used to do, which was to trial juices in blank cartomizers. If I didn't care for the juice, I basically had to throw the carto away as I don't wish to fool around trying to clean a carto. The polyfill in the cartos tend to retain the previous flavor.

In your situation you can use a particular clearo to test juices in. If you find you don't care for the juice, you can empty it back into the bottle. However, some flavors will linger no matter how you try to clean them. That's why I like the smaller CE2's, if they can't be rid of a previously tried flavor, they are cheap enough singly (unlike the clearos) that I don't feel too bad about throwing one out. Also note that, although the new clearos are allegedly safer to use with juices that may melt/crack plastic, we have at least one incident where a juice cracked the tubing.

Some juices won't taste the same upon delivery from when you allow them to steep for 1-3 weeks. Therefore, revisit a previously disliked juice after allowing to steep and you may be pleasantly surprised. This would be particularly true with a lot of the coffee flavors which you showed interest in.

Thanks guys for all the insight. I currently have sample packs of cartos on order from no less than 5 ECF suppliers and I am expecting another Vapemail SI in todays mail, so I guess I'll be stalking the mail Lady for the next couple of weeks. I also plan on ordering a clearomizer from SI along with some comfort tips for my current setup (X2-1300mha w/XL SS Cartomizers) which I love. Since I spend most of my free time Riding Motorcycles with my Club I am working on a design for a leather X2 holder that I can wear around my neck to keep it readily available for MotoVaping without the fear of dropping it on the highway, just about have it done so I'll post a picture of it and me vaping on the bike to get my free battery...

I also started with pre-filled carts, mainly because I was intimidated by the prospect of refilling. When I bought my starter kit, I picked up a few sampler packs to figure out which flavors were best. There were some great, some good and a few (no offense) that I didn't like. Ended up going the refill route to save some money...I gradually "evolved" from the cartomizers to clearomizers and snagged a few packs of the SE3s as soon as they became available. It may just be me, but I've found that the clearomizers have a cleaner taste than cartos, and the SE3s are even better (not to mention easier to gauge how much liquid you have left). I still use cartos sometimes (they fit in my PCC), but am partial to the other options. I buy liquids from a variety of vendors. Would use SI exclusively if they sold smaller bottles...I like having a little variety throughout the day.

I started refilling on Sunday, I bought three X2 1300 mha batteries and 20 Stainless Steel empty Cartomizers. I have several different juices from SI and others and it only took me a few minutes to master the refill skills. Make sure to watch the short videos on SI's site, it's a lot easier than you would think. I am a chain Vaper for now as I am recovering from 35+ years of 2 packs a day of the Marlboro Reds and Lights and I have not had a craving yet that a few good hits from the X2 couldn't cure. I want to try the VOLT X2 Clearomizers when they are back in stock. They hold 1.6ml each and that should get you through even the toughest day... SI ROCKS!

Refilling is easy. I have a video on YouTube that shows you the different methods. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNzl5FUdctI
