So how many dips can you get out of a 30 ml bottle? Is that how you buy your juice btw, out of 30 ml bottles? Is that the most economical size?

Most vapers us 2ml to 4ml a day. So 30ml would last about 10-12 days. Many long time vapers direct drip onto the atomzier coil, usually about 3 drops which will give you 5-6 nice hits, if you are using a good 5 volt mod PV and of course a manual (button) PV. So buying your own e-liquid not only tastes much better but is much more economical.

I am fairly new myself and this seems like a good thread, I read before that carts wear out after a while, after a day or two that hasn't been the case, but is it true? There isn't much there other than a wick, so either that wears out or it doesn't. Also I have been using the same cart with a few different flavors, coffee, tobacco, and menthol. They all mix pretty well, but do most people like to keep carts specific to one liquid? and if so how the hell do you organize that? Also I just drip my juices on top of the cartridge wick, I would like to use a syringe, but I couldn't find any 3ml ones, and the 1ml needles are too thin to absorb the juice. Any recommendations for how to properly fill a cart? Sorry for all the questions, but I am still a noob at this.

Can you elaborate on this? How do you direct drip on the coil? If you were going that route, would you but a cartomizer for that purpose?

No, a cartomizer is a cartridge with an atomizer built in. The drip method removes the cartridge altogether, you drip the juice straight onto the atomizer.

You got the first part right but not completely on the second part. In order to do it the way you described, a model that is compatible with a drip tip can be used without a cartridge. I currently have the type that looks like a real cigarette and what I do is take the inside of the cartridge out. Then, I drip about 2 drops of juice directly onto the atomizer bridge and replace the empty cartridge. You have to be careful not to get too much juice on the atomizer though because it can leak down into your battery (if your battery has a hole in the part were it connects to the atomizer) You can't just drip onto the atomizer and then start taking pulls/drags. If you didn't put the cartridge back on, you'd burn your lips off. LOL

I started about 6 months ago w/ Blu and their carts. I didn't quit analogs right away so they lasted a couple weeks. After that, they were like nothing.... The foil in their carts just ruins them and makes them a hassle. Go with refilling... way more flavors and not so difficult once you get the hang of it. Honestly, I don't even refill multiple carts. I use 1 cart and refill it when it wears down with a bottle or two I keep in my desk.

I just got a 510 kit that came with 25 carts. I also got a drip tip and some liquid and I much prefer the taste of that, and how easily I can switch flavors when dripping. I'll work through my carts while I'm doing things like driving. Dripping really gives a great taste and since you only get about 5 draws from 2 drops, it's easier for me to stop. Sounds weird but with a cart I will vape all freaking day and I don't want to blow through my supplies that quickly.

You tube has some great videos of everything vaping you can imagine. You should go watch about a hundred videos....it'll help. If you haven't already, go to the sticky threads at the top of this new members forum and watch MistressNomad's videos for New vapers. They are great and will clarify a lot of things about vaping and the different e-cig options for you.

I'm preferring pre-filleds at the moment. Lately my throat has become very sensitive and every juice I have scorches it. I've been using my 'lil Volcano pv and the pre-filleds and enjoying it quite a bit. The juices taste good and I only go through maybe 4 or 5 carts a day (at about $3 a pack). Considering I was spending $120 every 2 weeks on cigs, spending half that is no great shakes.

Dripping is easy, but if I plan on driving somewhere, I always refill the carts. It does take a little practice to learn to do it fast and not overfill it, but as soon as you mastered it, it's quick and easy! Also, using a blue foam mod makes it easy to refill and wash the cart; it also lasts you for long time, so you don't need to carry extra polyfill with you.

Never liked ordering prefilled as it gives me almost no choice of flavor!

Another thing I would like to know is where most stuff is made. I assume that most e-cigarettes are made in China. What about the juice? Is most of that made in China too? Or, do most people on this board buy juice made in USA? I live in Korea and China is like right next door.

That depends on who you buy from...Mrs T's I think is the best, plus, you can mix the flavors whenever you want. I've tried juice from China, and I didn't like it. IMO

When I purchased my 510, which came with 5 prefilled carts, I also purchased 20 blank carts to fill with my own juices ( or rather purchased juices ) When I got my eGo, it came with 5 more prefiilled carts. Thats 30 carts and I havent damaged any of them. When I get down to about 5 carts left, Ill get out my stuff and clean them and put new filler in.

When I decide what I want to vape I fill a cart with that juice, then top off as needed.

Its sooo much cheaper and honestly the flavors are about 100 times better than the prefilled garbage Ive tried.
