preliminary stages of an impractical mod

So far it's just breadboarded. I'm waiting for battery boxes and momentary on switches before I refine it a bit and solder everything to a pcb. What I have is a mc34063 switching controller boosted with an external pfet. One pot controls voltage the other limits current if desired. I'm powering it for the time being with a 12v 24w wallwart for testing purposes.
