Hi all! I haven't posted on this forum in a very long time because I've been happily vaping away on nothing but my KR808D-1's from CigEasy since I left. But then I went to his website and discovered he had new premium cartos available. I decided to check out the forum to see if this was something other suppliers were doing as well and check out reviews. I discovered that V4L and V9 were also selling premium cartos, and I also saw some discussions on which were better. But I didn't find enough info for me to feel sure about who's I want to try out first. So I thought I would ask for your thoughts here on whose new premiums you're liking the best so far...

CigEasy, V4L, or V9?
Also, soft or hard cap?

Hey Erica, I haven't tried any but have followed the threads on these. In short, the V4Life premiums have a lower Ohm rating, which means they run hotter. There is a difference between the hard and soft caps but I can't remember the stats off hand.

The V9 have a higher Ohm rating and run cooler. They just got the soft caps in stock. I'm told they have the same Ohm rating as the hard caps.

I'm going to try the V9's myself when they get more blanks in.

Hey Erica, not sure where in PA you are, but I got my premo carts from litecigusa.net. They are the hard capped ones, although Shawn says he is getting the soft tipped ones in soon. supposedly they have an end cap similar in material to the silicon caps that they ship with on both ends.

The ones I have hold about 33-50% more fluid, and don't get quite as hot. The center hole on the battery end is smaller too. The cap is glued on, but not too dificult to remove with a little soak in hot water or some squeezing.

Are the Premiums from V4L hard or soft cap??

I hear that the V4L ones are a mix, pre-filled being hard, blanks being soft, or do i have that backwards? they are going to all soft cap though

It is a mix.
The regulars have an easy to remove hard cap with a silicon ring under the cap
Some premiums have a hard cap that is glued on and some have the squishy soft cap. They said they are going to the soft on all premiums

I just received an order of premiums from V4L to use on my PS Prodigy V2 and they are CRAZY. I thought I was getting alot of vapor before, but it is bordering on ridiculous amounts of vapor now. Only time will tell how long they last.

The ones I received have the soft rubber cap and my first impression is that it is much easier than the old two piece cap to get into, even when the sticker is cover the edge of the cap, which is usually a VERY frustrating situation.

Does this running hotter mean they are better or worse for flavor and TH?

Running hotter would mean more vapor production, more TH and possibly more chance of burning. I'd think you'd have to top them off a little more. The flavor may suffer a little but since I haven't tried V4Life's I can only surmise. I have now tried the Turbo's. Even though they have a higher Ohm rating they seem to produce more vapor than a standard carto. It's really a night and day difference.

how do the v9 turbos compare to nhaler's mega kr808d-1's?

After reading the description they sound 'Turbo like' although their Ohm rating is listed as even higher. One multimeter to the next can give different readings. The highest Turbo rating I've heard about is 3.2.

Like 'Nilius' said, 'Puff' has tried all of them so I'd read her blog.

I have used turbos and premiums extensively and believe the turbos are better. They run cooler and hold more liquid. They produce excellent vapor and flavor. That said, I have now tried the hew cool cartomizers from V4L and they are exactly the same as the turbos.
The difference is that the V4L cool cartomizers are $2 cheaper per pack and come in all kinds of colors. It's kind of a no brainer as to where I'll be getting these carts.

Here's how I broke it down

VaporNine
5 boxes of Turbos
5% Discount for quantity discount - It increases for every 5 boxes you buy
10% Discount code Goodvapor
$4 shipping
$46.23 is the cost for 5 boxes of Turbos to my home

Vapor4Life
5 boxes of CoolCarts
10% Smilin Discount code
$6.95 Flat Shipping
$47.22 is the cost for 5 boxes of Cool Carts to my home

If you hop on one of the 15-25% codes that V4L offers at times, the Cool carts are the way to go.

Personally, even if it is just $1 I'm gonna buy from the cheaper company
