Credit where credit is due, Duck; V4L had it first. Before then, all the KR models were synonymous with crappy quality. The KR808D was their first really good e-cig, and V4L (and my video about the VK) put the model on the map.

Thank you credit now given.... leeshor need not reply hehe

Here's a really good tip from D103 from Cedar Rapids Iowa-

It's meant to hold throwing darts but it's a perfect case for the KR808d-1! It's very inexpensive at about $5.50 + shipping.

Has anyone ever heard of JBL Engineering? This is where I bought my starter kit for around $50, and was recommended by a friend. I never see it mentioned in the forum and was wondering if anyone else has any experience with them. I've used other vendors since then, but JBL seems to have similar prices on accessories.

I do have one concern: ever since I started ordering from these ecig vendors, I've had unauthorized debits on my debit card which I've used for purchases. Since I've used several vendors now, there's no way to know which site compromised my bank account. Has anyone else had this happen to them and can isolate which vendor has "sold" their financial information?

Well, I think I answered my own question. JBL is part of vaping101. Some prices:

4 blank carts and a 32 oz bottle of your favorite juice $24.95
"secret formula" juice 32 oz $15.99
pack of 10 blank carts $18.63 or 5 for $11.38
5 prefilled carts $12.75
PCC $9.06 and with power adapter $26.29
auto batt in black or chrome $18.69
USB charger $8.36

Their shipping fee is higher than some other vendors at $6.00.

I'm still concerned about which vendor sold my financial information. I know it was one of them, because it wasn't until after I started ordering vaping products that my bank account was compromised. Which vendor do y'all think is safest?

I saw a post on the new members section where somebody had their debit card info used unauthorized also. I have the option to set a temporary card number and dollar limit on my credit card that can only be used for 1 vendor. I think that I will start using that option.

BTW- I have ordered from VaporKings, MyFreedomSmokes, and V4L and have not had this problem yet. I just ordered from Vapor Station. I did use the temp card number system a few times. BOA is very good about contacting me if they see any suspicious activity on my account.

Might check-out this thread of complaints

Also, check with your Bank, and see if they can help you define which one made the extra charges.

Good Luck!

Salem, how do you set a temporary card number and dollar limit? Thanks!

My first ecig is from Premium Electronic Cigarettes. The company has fast shipping and I'm mostly happy with it. I have 1 half-dead battery, not bad out of 3.
Anyway, to help fill in the first post, I emailed them this morning.

My email:
Hello,
I currently have 3 of your PR110 batteries. I understand that the PR111 is longer and your description says it lasts longer than the 110. My question is, what are the mAh of each battery?
Thank you

Their Reply:

The mAh for our PR110 battery is about 180mAh, and the PR111 is about 220mAh. The PR110 lasts about half the cartridge when fully charged, and the PR111 will last about 3/4ths of each cartridge. Hope this answer your questions. Thank you for your business.
Best regards,

You can add us to the list :D

We are a 100% 808 supplier, except we have our hardware tweaked to work best with the premium / turbo / ultra cartomizers, not the standard KR808D-1 stuff.... i don't know why people even use the regular cartomizers anymore, the newer ones blow them out the park.

While their prices are not the cheapest, SmokeTip sells nothing but KR808D1 equipment. Their shipping is free and they are a member in good standing of the BBB (which is why I first tried them). Also, their batteries have a lifetime warranty.

I recently had a failure on one of my four ST batteries. I emailed the company after work and received a reply the next morning with the tracking number of the replacement battery. Yesterday, I received an email from them acknowledging that they had got the bad battery I sent back and a follow-up inquiry on how the new battery was working.

I'd say they are worth adding to the list.

ok...so I see this thread was started last year.....I still want to put in my two cents worth.....

V4L is my favorite KR8 vendor. Bottom line...I could buy cheaper products from china...but how much money saved is worth the crazy hassle?...when ordering from V4L at least I KNOW what I am getting. And at least they put their name on it...so if it malfunctions...I can at least have a vender to fall back on....

I have purchased my whole KR8 system from V4L...they have been there for me.....I should be there for them. Thank you!
