After reading about this section for a while, I've decided that I'm going to really aggrivate myself if I try to mod carts myself. My question is, is there a place that sells modded carts? Someone must be selling carts somewhere designed to hold more juice and wick perfectly, right? If such a thing exists, could someone point me in the right direction? I currently use an Npro and have a Janty Stick in the mail so I'm hoping I could find ones to fit the Janty Stick. Npro wouldn't be bad either.

If you're using the 801 attomizer that comes with the Janty Stick, the 801 carts hold a lot more juice than the Npro. The difference is huge.

I believe I read somewhere that you can purchase an extended cart for the Npro but I don't remember where. That would give you a larger cart also. As far as the PTB mod, I didn't have much luck with it on the 801....it leaked a lot.

Good luck!

I've been working out a design for a 510 cart mod and will be ordering parts soon for a test version. I'm looking at an all metal cartridge with built in metal straw mod, metallic wick and double the capacity. I'm wondering if its worth going into production. What would people consider a fair price for such a cartridge?

If the cartridge life were as long as metallic components would suggest (nearly immortal), and it really did give equal juice retention/wicking, $5. Significantly improve the capacity and/or wicking, $10. But it also matters what metal you use, I'm not going for brass wool or anything else that will corrode, stainless steel would be minimum.

But it would have to be an 801 cart, I don't like 510's.

Wouldn't the atty heating up make a metal cart heat up and possibly burn your lips? I know that some of the ecigs with auto batts go into a self cleaning mode and they get really hot, really fast. If you don't catch it or notice it then you are really going to burn your lips before you even realize you've done it.

Jules - that'll need testing - perhaps an additional mouthpiece as in the 901 would work.
Dave - I was going to start with brass and check corrosion - it is possible that the eliquid covering it will prevent the exposure to air and acid needed for the corrosion. I just need to find brass tubing without lead in it.

for 510s? do you have carts that you can put them in? What if you can get just the PTB mod ready to place in an empty cart?

just a thought

rho

Yeah I've done that Rho but I find making the actual mod (DFRF) quite tricky - I have only made the odd one on my first attempt that looks EXACTLY as yours do

Hi Rho :)

Yes I would, wow that’s really kind of you!

As I’m sending you the pre-paid envelope I could send you a couple of carts? Also purely as a matter of interest I will throw in a UK PTB as I’m not utterly convinced when I’ve studied your videos that the UK PTB is exactly the same material as your US ones so would be interested in your comments.

Will PM you now

Thanks again Rho
