Haha! I got 1. Well I got 2 on accident but thats ok, better to have extra. So It's 12 Euros for 1 (this includes shipping) Then I have to do a bank transfer, which costs $30. So 12 Euros is about $15 +$30 = $45 for a small top cap nut.

Hi All experienced Ody and Penelope users... I have a question that I was hoping someone could chime in and answer... I am preordering a lot of bits & pieces and my question is regarding the wick... Which wick would you say would be better for both the Ody & Penelope, the 3mm or the 3.5??? I've heard that the 3mm wicks better because it fits better in the channels... On the Greek sellers site it says that 3.5 is "Optimal for Ody and Penelope"... I'm a bit confused now because I've heard from a few people that the 3.5 constricts the wicking because it's just slightly too big for the channels and that the juice wasn't getting to the coils and causing dry hits, even with the juice control open... Some advise would be on this would be greatly appreciated!!! Many thanks in advance!!!

Myself I use 3mm silca and double it at the top...or more often I use cotton.

Don't know how many will be made, but the serial#'s in the GG Wiki go to 3,555 right now, so I'd assume they will be above that number. I'm wondering about the numbering of the brass engraved tubes, nothing was mentioned about starting over with the numbers, so I will assume they will be above that number also. They won't be SS GGTS though, I guess they will be B GGTS.

tIepaVi I use 3.5 mm wick on the Penelope. When pushing it in the channels i feel im using some force and the wicks seem compressed. But I never had any wicking issues. Of course I am using a double wick at the top as well. However no problem with the liquid going up the channels with 1 full turn of liquid control. And by the way I use Boba's Bounty in Penelope. If Boba can wick, anyone can. However I would advise you to get both and experiment. You never have too much wick. I have both as well and I sometimes put triple wick at the top with 1x3.5mm going down channels and 2x3mm at top. I always ran 3.5mm through channels without issues. But GET BOTH AND EXPERIMENT!

Imeo, sorry for disturbing you; is there a chance for some spare ss telescope in the upcoming e-smokeguru preoder?
just the telescopic tube... I've ordered twice from Vassilis, but I forgot to buy it and I'm thinkin' about buying a stealth too... anyway, my budged is empty too for this month. : (
If there will be no chance for this, I will get one in the classis or using the stealth rethreader and a spare tube which I've bought already

I just received my order of 3,5mm wick from COV and rebuilt one of my Penelopes with it last night. So far, it seems to be performing very well, and the wicking action is, if anything, a bit better than the 3,0mm wick ... the taste is the same (which is to say, great!). I like that the 3,5mm wick seems to fit the channels of the Penelope more fully ... I did notice that when I tightened the ceramic ring down, it "shaved" some silica fuzz off the wick. I think maybe I should pack the wick more firmly into the channels next time?

yes Scott. Before you screw the big ring, push with your fingers the wick some times to make it fit well inside channels
