Preorders for previous GG items

Imeo I'm like Dave and can't get this out of my head....the system you have now is good for us on the buyer side of it. I understand that people are misdirecting the anger your direction but like every misstep they will soon forget it. Most of those people won't be happy even if you personally deliver it by hand for half price. It's not your responsibility to take the brunt of the abuse. If the preorder system is scrapped the scalpers will end up buying the bulk and reselling at a higher price and people will not get a fair price for the GG. Please leave the system in place we now have 3 places to preorder from and that is enough.

And I promise nobody on this side of the pond blames you for what happend at the other guys house.

As it's mentioned somewhere in this thread. Checkout as normal. Once you get your order confirmation email. Take the order number 57** for example. Go into PayPal and send money to the email address for the Greek seller. You'll see the mail address on the order confirmation screen and email. Info@. Within aboutv24 hours. Your order will have a confirmed status. With an email from the Greek seller telling you this in Greek. Use google translate.

Oh make sure you put your order number in the reference of the PayPal transaction. That way he can cross reference

I think I might have discerned in general what is going on here, but either way here is another vote to continue pre-sales. I just got a stealth and I know Ill be waiting until next year but Id do it a million times over than to have the stress of trying to buy one of these products on mad dash day with the old way of doing things. This pre-sale idea has been fantastic for me.

Hy Imeo, I started vaping on February this year. I was fascinated by GG Stuff, but it was out of reach for me, because i'm travelling through Germany as a Technician staying in hotels 5 days a week most time without internet. But then i must stay three month at home because i was very ill. That was my chance to buy an Odysseus, Penelope, and a GGTS from Cam (sold out in 4 minutes, very bad for my blood pressure). I was very happy about your presales because it's the only way for people like me to get their GG Stuff. If you cancel this system, i'll have to get ill again for every new product, and you are a very creative man.... i think i'll get fired at the latest with Ithaka

I think that the idea stated before was the best where we place a order and when the seller gets the shipment then payment is made before shipment to the customer....

Someone will ALWAYS be in line to buy any that don't get paid for.

I would hate to see the preorders stopped, and think that some great ideas were brought up here. On a positive note, it will help you to refine the preorder process so that this type if issue can be avoided going forward. Surely, the brilliant man that created the GG and the Ithaka will find a way to make this possible....

You know that we will purchase from you regardless, but the preorders do make buying GGs less of a feeding frenzy. +1 on service and communication through Bruce. He's top notch and I wouldn't hesitate to have him hold preorders - he would do the right thing when the time came if there was a problem.

Another point I would like to make....
In the past when the new GG item hit COV. I did not always have the money on hand at that time. I missed out on a couple of items and had to wait till the next batch.
Now having a 2 to 3 week window with the Advanced order, I don't have to worry about that issue. I can even go back in case there was something I forgot.

I think the pre-order system is best Imeo. Seems like you need to get all of your suppliers on board so you can get a more concrete system in place to ensure that there's enough supply to satisfy all of the orders.

I agree that I hope the pre-orders don't stop. In the past trying to get new GG stuf was frusterating to say the least. Now I can order at my leisure and not have to worry about missing out.

My sentiments exactly Fright88. The pre orders allow a lot of us who do not have the chance to stalk websites all day to order the things we really want to get without fear of missing out on them being in stock.

Quite aside from the peace of mind and convenience that the pre-order system brings to us (just order what you want, then sit back and relax, confident that you'll get yours right away when its available), I would think the pre-order system would have some advantages for Imeo, as well ...

When you look at all the various devices Imeo has to support, with all the individual bits and pieces, he has some big production scheduling issues to consider ... I would think that knowing—through pre-orders—how much of which items needs to be produced would help him plan in order to provide the best service possible to all of us. I think the same would apply to pre-orders for all the new devices Imeo has in the pipeline for us. Whether he prefers it or not, Imeo has, through his own genius for epic designs, moved beyond the craftsman stage ... Imeo is now an industry, with industry-size problems to solve.

We're naturally all concerned about what works best for us, but it's equally important—and perhaps more so—that we be concerned about what works best for Imeo!
