That is a tough choice, I don't think you could go wrong with either. The Don gives you the flexibility to convert to a smaller mod. The Precise is probably a little better build quality, from my research, but not by much. I was recently debating between the Precise+ and the Don, but I was looking for a small mod (using Don in small mode). I decided on the P+ (18350 in my case). But really differences are minor, between these 2 I would make the final decision based on which one looks best to you, I'm sure the vaping experience would be identical. As far as I could figure the reliability and support is excellent for both.

The Precise mods are without question the most beautifully machined, superbly made devices on the market bar none.
I would go with an Empire if your looking for a device that has the capability to be used with many different batteries and is also a quality well made device. Use "due diligence" when choosing any device and talk to owners of the device you choose.
They will hopefully give you the pros and cons when talking about the mods they own but it's up to you to ask the right questions. I recommend you ask a very knowledgeable user/owner for their advice when considering the mods you were asking about. They can be very helpful when your wanting to know about the mods you were asking about!

Just a quick note - while most "battery tube" mods perform the same, the P+ series uses rhodium plated contacts which really do make a difference in my opinion. I'm not aware of any other mods out there that can say the same.

Not to say the Don is a bad choice at all - they're both very good, quality mods. If you're looking at ONLY using 18650 batteries, and don't mind spending a little extra cash, I say P+ all the way. If you want some flexibility, and don't mind sacrificing quality and want something a little cheaper, than go for the Don. You can't really lose either way, in my personal opinion.
