Preserving Connection Threads?

So I just ordered my first Provari yesterday and needless to say, I am very pumped. While my foot has bounced incessantly wishing shipping was instantaneous, I have been thinking about ways to keep my new toy in good condition.

I find myself worried about preserving the connection threads. Is this a valid concern? I read constantly about the solid construction of a ProVari, but in the end threads are small ridges of metal.

I know a 510-510 adapter is meant to help certain attachments sit better, but is it common to use something like this purely for thread preservation? Does doing so make a gap that completely ruins the sleek look in many of the pictures I see on these forums?

If it helps, I'm currently using various attachments (simple atty, cartos), but my primary is definitely my two vivi clearos. Soon I hope to expand into the rebuildable world. I've been thinking going igo-l for atty and aga-T+ for tank.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Stainless Steel atomizer conection threads....I wouldnt worry as they are almost impossible to strip out...
If you use a regular atty like I do(HH357's) it will never happan since the atty has brass threads vs the Provaris Stainless threads..
Mabey with a RBA the has Stainless threads you could use one of the 510 to 510 adaptors if your worried?

Thanks for the feedback. I got the beast in last night. I mainly wanted to post to share that.

Also... ahem...

HOLY CRAP ON A CRACKER IS THIS THING AWESOME!!!!

It reminds me of years back when mp3 players really started to hit stride. Instead of getting an iPod, I saved a few bucks and got a cheaper mp3 player. It was okay. I mean, it worked fine. After it died, I got an iPod and went "okay, I get it." It worked better, was built solid, and was just so much more slick.

Yup... feeling that now. It's like an iPod and a Nat Sherman had sex and gave birth to a sonic screwdriver.
