So I just ordered my first Provari yesterday and needless to say, I am very pumped. While my foot has bounced incessantly wishing shipping was instantaneous, I have been thinking about ways to keep my new toy in good condition.
I find myself worried about preserving the connection threads. Is this a valid concern? I read constantly about the solid construction of a ProVari, but in the end threads are small ridges of metal.
I know a 510-510 adapter is meant to help certain attachments sit better, but is it common to use something like this purely for thread preservation? Does doing so make a gap that completely ruins the sleek look in many of the pictures I see on these forums?
If it helps, I'm currently using various attachments (simple atty, cartos), but my primary is definitely my two vivi clearos. Soon I hope to expand into the rebuildable world. I've been thinking going igo-l for atty and aga-T+ for tank.
Thanks in advance for the advice!
