Preserving E-Liquid with Sodium Preservative

Hey, I think this is the right place to post but it could also be a mod/tip. I was looking into the shelf life of e-liquid and came across an article on that Nicotine Water that was out a few years ago. In the article it mentioned the use of a low sodium preservative to give the nicotine a shelf life of 1 year. Would it be feasable to just add some of this preservative to e-liquid to extend its shelf life? I know we would have to consider the ingestion of this liquid, but if it was in this nic-water, wouldn't it be safe for inhalation?

Okay OMG why is THIS not banned? Can't kids get ahold of this and drink it?????? OMG LOL What is the difference between this and e liquid? Give me a break!!!!!

lol no it was pulled from the shelves! i am just saying though, the low sodium preservative that they say was used in this, could we not try this for e-liquid?
