To cut or not to cut

That is the question....
Ok folks, I'm about to take the DIY plunge and have a question regarding the shelf life of nic. I have read that PURE nic has a shelf life of 1 year. I'm not buying PURE nic as I would never consider such a crazy thing. What I want to do is buy 120ml of 100mg PG nic then immediately cut it down to a safe level of 36mg with PG. That way I don't have this crazy dangerous 100mg stuff sitting in my house even though all my DIY stuff will be locked up.

Will this "cutting" it down to 36mg with PG shorten the shelf life? Again, I plan on storing all DIY materials and liquids in a locked dark container in a cool area so light and heat will not be a factor so to speak.

edit: Forgot to mention the reason for wanting 100mg then cutting it down is to reduce final cost. I've spent a fortune on all this e-cig stuff and now I want to make it start paying me back a little. lol

I've had my nicotine/PG liquid in freezer well over one year.
It is still near colorless and has strong TH.
Batches outside the freezer will develop a tint after a few weeks but still has strong TH.

You can freeze this stuff without messing it up!? Cool! (pun intended) lol. So what do you use for a container to freeze it in? Plastic bottles? Wont it try to expand and break the container?

Freeze in glass and plastic. Leave a small air gap in glass bottle and no air in plastic. Temp=5F. My e juice does not solidify @ 5F.

IMO about the plastic and no disrespect to the poster. Just going by what Kurts findings are.
