All I can say is if this is a concern then the solder technique needs work. In addition if this is a concern, the builder may not possess the dexterity necessary to build a mod with a dna 20d.

It's really not that bad. Is press-fit even made in this size and current specification? If so then it *should* work.

Has any had any luck with or even tried using press fit connectors on the DNA20 board. I can solder but i worry about solder touching
another whole on the board.. Just curious if any one has tried using them and if so do you have a link on where to get them. Thanks for reading

Mill-Max Unfortunately their sight is down for upgrading and I don't have the press-fit catalog handy - but they are loaded with all types of pin connectors (including press fit) - otherwise - just a dab of solder should do ya on most other anyways......

Happy Modding :)

I have very good soldering skills, the issue is i just had back surgery and my hand are a little shaky from nerve damage. I can wait until everything gets better but i dont want to, And i got the idea from Evolves webs site, the recommend using them. I just cant seem to find them in the correct size....

It is important to use appro
priately sized wire when using the dna. Too small wire will not
perform well, and significantly undersized wire can burn out.
The mounting holes for the DNA 20D are .100” pitch and .040

diameter. It can be wired in
directly using soldered connections,
or socketed with standard .1” hardware

i copied and pasted that from the DNA20 data sheet, from evolves web site
