Me and the ol lady were riding around town today when I saw a sign that said JD vapor on it. So like any normal vaper would do, I did an immediate u-turn, and sure enough, a B&M has opened in my town. Unfortunately, they close at 6pm, so they were closed when I got there. I did take a look through the window and saw a few shelves worth of juice. Also a bunch of MVPs on a shelf and what looked like an SVD from a distance, couldn't really make anything else out. So I'm gonna check it out when I wake up tomorrow, hopefully it'll be good and they'll stick around.

Sorry guys, I've been a member since like september 2013 and I still don't know what B&M stands for. Enlighten me? And I would be super excited if a vape shop opened in my area too. Spokane has Vapor Lounge, Sublime, and Lilac City vapor. I think there's another one that I've heard whispers about but havent visited yet

Brick & Mortar - describes the physical presence of a building - just mean a store you can go in.

You'll have to tell how your trip goes. I have only been in 2 around me and I was not impressed with either. I know very little about vaping compared to some the people here, but I actually felt like I knew a bit more than the employees I encountered. That does not mean there are not some wonderful stores out there. And not to impressed with their inventory. I should not base it on 2 stores so the next one I see....I'm gonna try them again. Good luck to ya and have fun.

That is exciting. I would love to have a vaping B&M near me. Let us know how your visit goes.

I can't wait to check it out. I have one B&M about 20 minutes away, they have a poor selection but the people are nice. Occasionally they'll have something good. The other one is almost an hour away and it's alright, just not really worth an hour drive. I've never been much of an order off the Internet kind of guy with anything, so I'm pretty stoked. I'll update as soon as i can, fingers crossed!

I know FAR more than most of the employees at the vape shops in my area. I get a lot of blank looks when I explain how my genesis atomizer works, or talking about my coils and DIY juice. But it's truly a hobby for me, and a job for them. There's a difference

The closest one to me is 21 miles away that is why I am opening one later this year early next year already have the funding just have to get my ducks in a row to get it all going...like getting everything from the building to the furniture bought...down to the PVs and APVs..and I have to lean to mix my own juice and make my own juice. So yeah there will be one in my town eventually I just have to get it up and running!

Make sure you hire people who vape or at least get alittle learning session in the basics. Been to a fair share of b&ms where my gf knew more then some workers (shes fairly new and still only uses an ego/ce5 lol)

Unfortunately the same rings true for the B&M in my town.... Employees seemed somewhat uneducated to the products that they are selling and their overall lack of interest in customers was a bit unsettling. I'll give them another chance in a month or two.

Well, I have returned from the shop, not too shabby. Device wise they had a whole mess load of ego-t's and ego-c twists (fully expected). They had a couple MVP's and a lava tube. Had a bunch of kanger stuff: T3S, Pt 3, Mini Pt 2 and 3 (had a bunch of the 3's). A small selection of drip tips. And possibly a bunch of Chinese juice, (nothing I recognized so just kind of assuming). The owners were really nice people, said they've been there for a month, where have I been? Haha. I'll definitely be comming back.

Left with a T3S for now, and im liking it so far, nice to have something else I can use all my Protank coils in now.

I have a great b&m - really good e-liquid, wonderful customer service & a good understanding of the gear they sell.

That's all I expect from a vape b&m - there's way to much gear in this market to expect them to carry what I
would like, no way they can price the same as on online vender & to expect minimum wage workers (that are
mostly 20 somethings) to own a variety of vape gear & know all the ins & outs of how all this stuff works is asking too
much. IMO

I was actually surprised by how much they knew. They were a couple somewhere in their 30s or 40s,really really nice. Seems business is slow enough for just them to run things right now, hopefully it'll pick up, it'd be a shame if they went out of business. I didn't get that deer in head lights look I usually get when I mentioned rebuilding Protank coils, so that's a plus! If I'm gonna buy an actual device, I'd just get it off the Internet, dont expect B&Ms to have everything I'm looking for, it's just nice when they do!

That's cool! I hope they succeed too. It is great you have a b&m place open in your area & your lucky
they carry even one thing you might buy.:thumb: If ours didn't have the good liquid then I would have
never returned to it after I was set up in this vaping world. The b&m's are great for smokers trying to
quit & making their first purchase. The places that do carry higher end stuff are just to high in price
compared to online - & sales are impulse buys or people that want it now and don't want to wait for
the mailman. :)

If not for our local b&m I would still be smoking - it makes a huge difference to see what the heck these
e-cigarettes actually are, how they work & be able to ask some of those beginner questions.
When we walked into ours, all I knew about these things was the gas station individual throw away
things & I wasn't going to touch one of those. But the b&m opened my eyes.

See the MVP in your photo - just got one(online lol) for my husband - those are really nice.

I have four shops all within driving range of my house, 2 of which are 5 minutes from my house. Only 1 that is a really amazing store. All these shops just popped up in the last 6 months. I feel spoiled! There's not much to do around my town, so it's a shocker that I have all these stores to check out. I think it's great to have even 1 mediocre store in the area so that people who are uneducated about vaping can get a start on it and quit smoking and go from there.

I plan on being the only one working the store for a while until I get quite a customer base that I cannot handle it on my own then I will see if one of my regulars want to work for me because they will obviously know a lot about vaping if they are in my store all the time making purchases on things other than just juice!

That's what I always hate about vapemail. I have an aerotank on the way, and I cant take the wait! I needed to get that t3s to help with the anticipation!

I love the mvp (also bought at a B&M two months ago). I paid the full 70 for it, but i couldn't stand my eGo-T any more, I had to have it then.
